Uneasy belonging in the mobility capsule: Erasmus Mundus students in the European Higher Education Area

Taking Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters students as exemplifications of the intensification mobility in educational trajectories, this article considers their modes belonging super-mobility. Their experiences take place within a consortium universities, necessitating intensive and routinized collective movement to multiple locations. This novel way practising higher education calls for new frames describe distinctiveness super-mobility experience how is enacted reflected transnational space. It aligns itself with critical approach hypermobility, especially regard its impact on mental well-being. Through an empirical, multi-year qualitative study student experiences, we propose concept capsule both meso-level structure particular practicing which implies group experience, usually organised institutional framework studies. Our results show that characterised by intense speed, routine uprootedness cosmopolitan social closure.
